Art Class – Empowering your Creativity through Painting, Photography, and Pottery – Beginner level class
Project-Centered Courses are designed to help you complete a personally meaningful real-world project, with your instructor and a community of learners with similar goals providing guidance and suggestions along the way. By actively applying new concepts as you learn, you’ll master the course content more efficiently; you’ll also get a head start on using the skills you gain to make positive changes in your life. When you complete the course, you’ll have a finished project that you’ll be proud to use and share.
12 weeks – meeting every week for 2 hrs – (setting up and cleaning up adds another 30 mintues to the class)
Class size – 6 participants -$600.00 plus tax
Introductory Class to 3 different art mediums as well as understanding stress and how to use calming, centering to improve your “artistic eye”
Objective – to introduce you to 3 mediums – with 4 weeks in each area of photography, painting, and pottery – You will complete the 12-week course with 1 photograph of something you love, have a painting of that subject and produce a plate or platter with the subject on it. You can decide what medium you like and if you want to explore further. No previous knowledge of photography, painting or pottery is required. A phone on your camera is sufficient for this beginner class.

Location – 24 Frances Street, Dartmouth Dates and times -Saturday 21st from 9:30-11:30 – not class on April 8 due to Easter Weekend, last class is April 15th.
