I will be starting group portrait painting sessions in the Bridgewater area in the new year.
These will be 3-hour, weekly sessions painting/drawing from live, clothed models. There will be no instructor, but we all learn from each other and enjoy the camaraderie. These will be ongoing, but grouped 8 sessions at a time. Costs will be reasonable, to cover models and room rental. My guesstimate is around $100 for eight weeks – could be more or less, depending on the number of people.
Painters of all stripes and experience levels welcome. Work in your choice of medium – oil, acrylic, pastel, graphite.
I have organized these portrait sessions before and they were great! A bunch of artists getting together to paint on a regular basis, with music, coffee, etc. (photos attached from previous sessions)
