Open Water, An International Juried Exhibition in Water Media

OPEN WATER 2025 will be the 100th Annual Juried Exhibition held by the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour. The CSPWC is proud to be presenting this exhibition at Teichert Gallery, 1723 Hollis Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Submissions are OPEN NOW and close on June 16th at 1 pm Atlantic Time.

This exhibition is open to all artists 18 and over, for submissions painted in water based media. Artists whose work is accepted to the show will be required to ship or deliver their painting to Halifax, Nova Scotia for delivery between August 11- 28th. International artists should allow time for shipping in their planning.

New this year: Announcing a Youth Division of Open Water, open to Atlantic artists between the ages of 16 and 19. Full details are listed in the Call for Entry.

Notification goes out to artists by email by July 7, 2025
Deadline for paintings to arrive in Halifax August 28, 2025
