Visual Voice is proud to present “Fleeting & Timeless” a solo show of new paintings by Patty Lively. In the artist’s own words: “Of the many beautiful places in Nova Scotia, I am especially inspired by my homelands near Lunenburg. I have a lifetime connection to its natural beauty and rich history. These paintings commemorate the verdant meadows, forests, inlets, and shorelines through each changing season. I attempt to convey both life’s fleeting moments and nature’s timeless eloquence.”
Just as Patty captures nature’s opposing qualities that seem both eternal and ephemeral at the same time, she does so in opposing styles, from realism to complete abstraction. A great show to please every taste!
