PAINT KENSINGTON AND AROUND:
PLEIN AIR FESTIVAL

So much to inspire plein air painters in Kensington and surrounding villages, towns and rural areas. Fascinating architecture, quaint fishing villages and wharfs, hills and fields, beaches and shorelines, and more. It’s all here.

In 2025, we are partnering with Under the Spire (UTS) music festival (located at historic St. Mary’s Church, 1374 Hamilton Road), where your artwork will be for sale during the festival.

Back by popular demand will be some demos/paint with artists. Learn more when you register.

The Kensington Art Co-operative Gallery invites plein air artists to come for a three-day event on September 12-14, 2025 for painting and sale of your new works. Quick draw challenge on Sunday afternoon. New this year, finished work can be delivered daily (noon to 5:00 p.m.) to the Pavilion at Under the Spire.

Painting can begin any time after 8:30 a.m. at a new location for each day. Cost is $50.00 to join and the gallery and UTS will share a percentage of the selling price (30%). Limited to 40 artists.
