“Through the Looking Glass” explores the captivating and uncanny world of storefront mannequins, showcasing their surprising power as reflections of both consumer dreams and societal ideals. This impressionist photographic exhibition illustrates the silent stories these figures tell, inviting viewers to ponder the blurred lines between inanimate objects and idealized human forms.
“Time and Tide” began in 2024 after the glowing red “MOTEL” sign over the Chebucto Inn went dark. The temporary loss of character in the North End sparked a search for Halifax’s longest standing and most beloved businesses. From restaurants, to laundromats, to bars and cafes- this series is a visual love letter to community.
“Two Score” – Rewandering after all these years. Reflections of old Toronto haunts.
