ViewPoint Gallery’s First Photowalk!

Looking for a creative way to celebrate Canada Day? Join us for ViewPoint Gallery’s very first community photowalk!

Whether you’re a seasoned pro, an amateur, an analog enthusiast, a digital lover, or someone who just loves snapping photos on their phone, this walk is for you. All skill levels and camera types are welcome to attend this free event.

We’ll be strolling along the Halifax Waterfront, capturing the energy, colours, and Canada Day festivities. There’s no strict itinerary—we’ll just follow the action and see where our cameras take us.

Don’t forget comfortable walking shoes, a water bottle, sunscreen, and plenty of space on your memory card and/or extra rolls of film!

The Details:

* When: Wednesday, July 1st at 1:00 PM
* Where: Meeting at the Samuel Cunard Statue (1215 Marginal Road, right by the Halifax Seaport — https://maps.app.goo.gl/D2dMjVPsKn5Ztnz5A).
* How to find us: Just look for the crowd with cameras!

No registration required—just show up, bring your creativity, and let’s shoot together.

Be sure to tag your shots with #ViewPointPhotowalk on social media so we can feature our favourites on our page.

Note: We’re on, rain or shine! But in the event of extreme weather, keep an eye on our social media by 11:00 AM for updates.
