In this special solo exhibition at the Lunenburg School of the Arts you will see the work of Joan Bruneau, one of Canada’s top tier ceramic artists. Joan’s work celebrates beauty in daily lived experience. Her pieces are interactive, inviting collaboration with the viewer in use, contemplation and social gatherings. Using Lantz clay (Nova Scotia earthenware ), her skillfully crafted botanical shapes and patterned surfaces evoke harmony through symmetry while reminding us of our connection to nature. An exhibition not to be missed.
Joan’s work can also be seen at Peer Gallery on Lincoln Street in Lunenburg. Pick up a Lunenburg Art Map for galleries and artist studios.
