Brush and Batik

This “Brush and Batik” exhibition and sale showcases two artists’ differing approaches to sharing the beauty of the world around us.
Andrea supplies the brushwork using acrylic paint on canvas and board. She gravitates to landscapes, enjoys unique subjects like colourful sneakers and capturing people doing everyday things.
Jay is a textile artist rendering her vision in batik. Most of her inspiration comes from the natural world, with its beautiful and intriguing forms and colours.
Located in the Cole Harbour library inside Cole Harbour Place, the art is available now through the end of December.
