Watercolour Painting Starts Tuesday September 28, 2021
This is an eight-week course in watercolour painting on a variety of topics The focus will be on composition, colour mixing and watercolour techniques. I hope to do a bit more experimental work ,always and interesting exploration.
8 weeks – Tuesday mornings, 9:30 to 12 noon. $120.00 per person
The Art of Natural History- Drawing and Painting
In this eight week class, students will take a closer look at the design, colour and textures of plants, shells, insects and other amazing forms found in the natural world. Students will work in a sketchbook and on a variety of papers to create beautiful portraits of nature. Pencil, pen and ink and watercolour will be the media used. Bring a 9 x 12 sketchbook, some other materials will be provided.
8 weeks- Thursday afternoons, 1:30 to 4 pm. $120.00 per person
All classes will be held at Windsong Studio & Gallery, 1331 Victoria Rd., Aylesford, NS
Botanical painting -A BANSA sponsored initiative. I will be hosting a botanical painting time on the first and third Monday afternoons 1-3 pm for a few months. We will meet at St. Mary’s Anglican church, 20 Morden Road, Auburn. We will meet in the Dixon Room starting September 20. There is no class fee, but a tooney would be appreciated to help with utilities costs. Anyone interested in botanical painting is welcome to attend. Please bring a project to work on. You don’t have to be a BANSA member, but those of us who come share what we do in this exacting and interesting art form. COVID protocols will be in place. Dates- September 20, 27, October 4, 18, November 1, 15.
