The Mahone Bay Printmakers present Torn Edges: A Celebration of the Printmakers' Art -
Torn Edges: A Celebration of the Printmakers’ Art is an exhibition of work by fourteen members from the Mahone Bay Printmakers that will brighten the beginning of December at the Lunenburg Art Gallery.
A vibrant community of artists, the Mahone Bay Printmakers was established in 2002 by Ed Porter, professor emeritus NSCAD, and Sally Warren, and has continued to thrive and grow under their guidance ever since.
An opening reception will be held on Tuesday, December 2 from 3 to 6pm with food, cheer, and a welcome from Ed Porter. On Saturday, December 6 a “Meet the Printmakers” event will run from 3 to 5pm, where visitors can learn about the many different types of printmaking that are happening on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. All featured work will be for sale.
Torn Edges runs from December 2 to 7, 11am to 5pm daily.
