If you’re looking for the “must do’ stop on the Eastern Shore then look no further. The Eastern Shore’s Gallery is a one stop food, art and crafts destination just 20 minutes outside Dartmouth.
The beautiful Eastern Shore’s Gallery (ESG) in housed in a renovated 1880’s church in Head of Chezzetcook. This grand old lady showcases work from 35+ Nova Scotian talented artists and promotes the spectacular Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia/Canada as a visitor destination.
The Gallery consists of the main display area, a small botanical shop run by Limnoreia ((previously the Witches of Saltwater Marsh) in the altar area, as well as an art class area, and Anthea’s studio in the side vestibule. There is a South African themed cafe downstairs seeing coffees and pancakes dine in or to go.
The cafe is South African based on Anthea’s original home country, and serves authentic South African food, in a hospitable, friendly, multicultural space for locals and visitors to the shore.
