Call for Applications Hammer and Sky Artist Residency
Hammer and Sky Studios, a not for profit artist space based in Westport, Nova Scotia, is calling artists to its self-directed artist residency. Open to artists from all backgrounds and at any stage of their career, the residency offers artists a two week stay on Brier Island, a remote island on the Bay of Fundy.
Hammer and Sky Studios facilities include a large restored heritage church that serves as a common studio, workshop and exhibition space. The facilities also include a residency space for 3 artists and two independent studios. Hammer and Sky Studios allows for companions to accompany each artists at no extra cost.
All applicants will be asked to submit an artist c.v, and short description of their practice.
