Nocturne at Teichert Gallery October 17

Block to Block: Build a Micro City

We welcome our community to a hands-on, playful, citymapping experience, using recycled and sustainable building materials. Create the city of your dreams, together!

Join us from 6 pm to midnight on October 17th

Take in our Nocturne group exhibit, featuring a collaborative city-building experience. Visitors are invited to build a custom, co-created city. Connecting with those around us in a shared experience allows us to re-invigorate and breathe life into third spaces. Various building materials will be available for visitors to create and construct their own vision of a shared urban space. Loose parts and recycled materials will be available, as a shifting and shared city comes to life through the experience of public art creation. Throughout the evening, visitors are invited to take in Teichert Gallery artists’ own interpretation of Embodied City, as they express what is meaningful to them, in relation to the festival theme. With thanks to ToyMaker of Lunenburg for providing building materials.
