Rope Basket Demo Day with Christine Bray | ArtWorks East Summer Gallery

Join ArtWorks East at the Summer Gallery on the Guysborough Waterfront for a hands-on look at the craft of rope basket making with local basket maker Christine Bray.

Christine will be set up with a variety of basket-making materials, including different jigs, rope, netting and tools, and will demonstrate how rope baskets are made. Visitors can get a close-up look at the process, discover different materials and methods, and even try some weaving of their own by contributing to a community basket.
